My dad, my two brothers Jason and Jeremy, and I are all eating at the last honest pizza which is Round Table. It starts snowing really hard outside. they turn the weather channels to find out whats going on with this crazy weather.
They say we have a huge snow storm coming from up north by canada and its gonna last for about 2-3 weeks. They recommend that everyone gets home and stays there or evacuates out of the west coast. We decided to get our pizza and leave.
By the time we finish, its been snowing for about a couple of hours now. We go outside to find our car covered in white fluffy snow. Its snowing so hard we can barely see 10 feet in front of us. So we decided that were not gonna go anywhere. So we go back inside the restraunt and were going to wait there for awhile.
We decided that we should try and stay here as long as we can. All the cooks and everybody left. We try to pass time by doing anything to get this hectic stuff out of our mind. Were playing board games that we found and watching tv. We also check the weather channel every hour to see if theres any updates.
Its about to be nighttime so we look around the restraunt for blankets or something to keep us warm. We check the news one last time before we go to bed and they said, " This is going to be the last broadcast to the westcoast until the blackout is over. Try and be safe and stay indoors as much as possible.
Day one after blackout. I wake up at about eight o'clock to find one of my brothers isn't laying down. So i get up to look around for him and I find him in the backroom by the door looking out the window. He says to me," How long is this going to last?" I replied," I dont know, but they said it should be about a couple weeks until it should start clearing up."
We walk back to where we were sleeping and lay back down. my dad wakes up saying," We need to get supplies from somehwere like a hardware store or were not gonna be able to survive for very long in this weather." We all agreed, but I told him we need to eat first so we can have some energy. We go in the kitchen and find all kinds of pizzas there to eat or we can even make our own. So i grab a couple of pizzas and put them in the oven.
All of a sudden we hear this noise coming from the back. I said," I think somethings trying to come in." I look around for something so i can protect myself its in danger behind that door. I told them to wait here While i go and check in the back to see whats up. As im walking i see a shadow slowly creeping through the door.I stop behind the door . Then Bam! I got struck in the nose by the door and I fall over in pain. The looks at me and starts saying," Oh im so sorry. I didn't mean to startle you like that." He helps me to my feet. I ask him," What are you doing out there by yourself." He says," I was at the restarunt across the street trapped because my car was stuck. So i came over to see if anybody was in here." We go back to my family so I can introduce them. He asks us how long we've been here and we tell him," Just since last night." I tell him that i put a couple of pizzas in the oven and they should be done now. So sit down and eat with us. As were eating my dad asks him," Do you know if anybody is in that hardware store next door?"

Justin's Views on Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin was the governor of Alaska. Her argument is that i did what i promised and now i can leave. She talks about everything she did for Alaska. Now that she has done it, she can leave. When she leaves she doesn't just want to leave it for an Alaskan. She says," We alaskans need to stick together" (Palin 5). Meaning the job must go to another Alaskan.
She tries to show sympathy to the audience by using card stacking because she only told her side of the story and not the rest. She also uses plain folks because she is relating to the Alaskans. She uses "We" to relate with everyone else. Sarah States," we meaning state stuff, amazing commisioners, great staff, assisting them, and conscientious Alaskans outside the bureaucracy" (Palin 7). Sarah states," I promised that we would manage our fish and wildlife abundance, and that we would defend the constitution, and we have, though outside special interest groups they still just don't get it on this one" (Palin 5).
I think that she is believable because she states that she did what she needed to do. She lists multiple things that she promised that she said she would do and she did them. Now she wants to leave office in the hands of another Alaskan. Sarah sates,"Alaskans really need to stick together on this with new leadership in this area especially" (Palin 5). Her final words of governor are, "So lets all enjoy the ride, and I thank you Alaska, and God bless Alaska, and God bless America" (Palin 14).
